    • High School Diploma
    • General Equivalency Diploma (GED);
    • Foreign diplomas must be translated and evaluated by a recognized agency such as Foreign Credit. ICOC must have evidence that verification of a foreign student’s high school diploma has been performed by an outside agency that is qualified to translate documents into English and confirm the academic equivalence to a U.S. high school diploma.
  • Student without High School Diploma
  • Ability-to-Benefit (ATB) 225 clock hour evaluation (if the program is at least 600 clock hours)

Under CEC §94904 (a), an institution is required, prior to executing an enrollment agreement with an ATB student, to have the student take and pass an independently administered examination from the list of examinations prescribed by the United States Department of Education (USDE). The ATB test used by International College of Cosmetology is Wonderlic. Applicants must score a minimum of verbal 200 and quantitative 210.
